Title: Exponential equations in groups
Abstract:
I will give an introduction to exponential equations in groups. It turns out that this area is related to number theory and model theory. I will present some recent results, obtained jointly with Agnieszka Bier, about exponential equations in acylindrically hyperbolic groups (which generalize relatively hyperbolic groups). In addition, I will formulate some problems.
