Tymoteusz Chmiel, Uniwersytet Jagielloński 13.05.2026 12:00, B1-37 Tytuł: Semi-stable models and Euler factors at bad primes Streszczenie:
I will explain how one can use semi-stable models of algebraic varieties to compute the Galois representation on their etale cohomology. Particular focus will be given to rigid Calabi-Yau threefolds defined over Q, whose Galois representations are known to correspond to classical modular forms. If the variety has nodal reduction at a particular prime, it is expected that the corresponding Euler factor is of degree one. I will discuss some progress towards verifying this conjecture. The talk is based on a joint work in progress with Marcin Oczko.
